Office Manager / Customer Service Representative

Job description:

Ferche Millwork, a division of the Hoffmann Family of Companies and a national leader in hardwood product manufacturing, is seeking to add an additional member to its office staff at its Rice, MN headquarters. Salary Range $40,000-$65,000

Overview:

We are searching for a great candidate to join our front office team. This position would ultimately become an Account Manager after stints in office management and training in the Customer Service department. You would onboard with split duties in Customer Service and an array of office management duties to support our operation while one of our key office team members is on maternity leave. This will create a really nice and subtle introduction to day-to-day activities and make a contribution from day 1, while having adequate time to get integrated and educated on the technical product details and operational methods, necessary for success as an Account Manager.

The onboarding office management duties would include some assistance in various office departments, direct assistance to the CEO, basic HR administrative duties, and various other tasks.

The Customer Service duties would initially focus on shadowing and training in the ERP software, product knowledge training and getting acquainted with the basic day to day inside sales operations. This would gradually shift to practical customer service duties and eventually taking on a portfolio of customers for whom you'd be the direct daily contact - quoting, entering orders, troubleshooting, etc.

Within 90-120 days, we expect this position will be promoted to an Account Manager, handling an appropriate share of the daily incoming activity among a team of experienced Account Managers.

Requirements:

A college degree is preferred but experience, personality and attitude will trump any degree.

Strong communication skills - phone and email, specifically - are a must.

Manufacturing environment experience is desired, but not required.

ERP experience is a plus.

This is an on-site position with full benefits. Compensation range will be heavily reliant on experience and skills. Range $40-65k.
