Overview
Ferche Millwork, a leading national hardwood millwork manufacturing, is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing and Office Administrator. This dynamic role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our office and executing effective marketing strategies to support our sales and growth goals. The ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter with strong administrative skills, comfortable working independently, and capable of providing high-level support to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications (Approximately 50%)
- Content Creation: Design and create professional marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, sales sheets, and digital assets (using tools like Adobe Creative Suite).
- Digital Presence: Manage and update the company website content (CMS experience preferred) and social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to promote products, company culture, and industry news.
- Email Marketing: Coordinate and execute email campaigns for lead generation, customer communication, and product announcements.
- Training/Presentations: Collaborate to create and present customer and end-user training, new employee on-boarding training and continuing education for employees.
- Trade Show/Event Support: Assist in the planning and preparation for trade shows and industry events, including organizing materials, registrations, and logistics.
- Market Support: Maintain and organize a library of marketing resources, product photography, and competitive information.
Office Administration & Executive Support (Approximately 50%)
- Office Management: Oversee general office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and incoming/outgoing mail.
- CEO Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing confidential documents and presentations.
- Customer & Vendor Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact, answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, and handling general inquiries from customers, vendors, and partners with professionalism.
- Document Management: Maintain organized and efficient physical and electronic filing systems for company records, contracts, and administrative documents.
- Basic Accounting Support: Assist with administrative tasks related to payroll, accounts payable/receivable, data entry into the accounting system and expense tracking, working closely with the accounting department.
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in an office administration, administrative assistant, and/or marketing support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to create and design professional marketing materials using graphic design software or tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
- Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
Preferred
- Experience with website Content Management Systems (CMS) and social media management for a business.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing or wood products industry.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
