Ferche Millwork, a national leader in hardwood product manufacturing, is seeking a Sales and Product Manager to join our growing leadership team. This cross-functional position will have key responsibilities in the sales department as well as operations.

This position will provide leadership to the sales and customer service teams and support to the VP of Sales. They will also lead sales efforts for raw materials and secondary market products.

On the operations side, this position will be responsible for managing product pricing and keeping pricing systems and tools up to date. This person will also be key in costing, processes, and system updates, transitions and training.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader and will dive deep into the operation to understand the business at a high level so they an effectively contribute ideas and help lead us on a path to continued improvement. This position is fast paced and the ability to multitask is a must. Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a great attitude are essential qualities for this position.

This is an on-site position at our Rice, MN headquarters and will have limited/occasional travel. This position reports to the Executive Committee.

Salary commensurate with experience.

  • Sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong and organized time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and independently
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manufacturing experience and understanding
  • Experience in the wood business is a plus, but not a must

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a sales or product management role or similar job related experience. College degree preferred.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
