Ferche Millwork is seeking an Estimator to join our account management team. This individual will be responsible for estimating and quoting products and projects for customers across Ferche's different market channels using stablished tools and systems. They will also provide excellent customer service, do order entry and support project management. This position is fast paced and the ability to multitask is a must. Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a great attitude are essential qualities for this position. This is an on-site position at our Rice, MN headquarters and does not require travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Estimating & Quoting
- Customer service
- Sales support
- Project management
- Working in Excel
- Order entry in ERP system
- Collaborating with production, logistics and other departments
- Other pricing-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Strong math/number skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to offer creative solutions to our customers
- Strong and organized time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and independently
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Excel and other softwares
- Experience with customer service, estimating, or manufacturing a plus, but not required
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED; six to twelve months job related experience. College degree preferred.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
