The Redmond's gentle, curving profile gives it lots of shadow definition. The trim shown shown on the right is a painted poplar. Poplar, as a hardwood, makes a great, dent-resistant substrate for the application of paint.
The crown above the doors and windows give added charm.
The baseboard along the floor, F2420, is also used in combination with the crown to give the ceiling trim more definition.

Here the Redmond is used with stain grade poplar moldings. We paired poplar moldings with knotty alder doors because poplar can be obtained in longer lengths. When properly stained, they match very well.

This series also works well in cherry, hard maple or other hardwood species.
