3/4" Veneered Boards are a great alternative to solid lumber. They are available in lengths up to 18 feet, with 16 foot being the most common. They are made with two types of core - matching fingerjointed core or particle board. The particle board core style has hardwood edge strips in the same species as the veneered face.
