Our "Premium 1" package contains a bevel casing, similar to the Heavy Princeton package, with the addition of a backband. Bringing the overall width of the casing to 3 3/4". The backband gives the casing a more "substantial" look as well a larger surface for thicker/wider chairrail or baseboard to butt into. The assembly looks best when the base or chairrail projects a shorter distance from the wall than the casing. The moldings' grand scale, and unmistakable Ferche quality, will exude the look of luxury.
